How can I tell if the item I want is available at my local store?

Our inventory may vary by store location. Contact the store nearest you and a representative will work with you to find the products you want. C.M. City can also special order items for you.

How do I find details about technical specs and/or dimensions?

Our website contains specific product descriptions including dimensions and features. If you still have questions about a product, contact your nearest store and a representative can help you with this information.

Do you offer new products?

Yes! We offer new, brand name items including GE/Hotpoint, Kenmore, LG, Ashley, Home Elegance, and more.

Do you offer previously rented products?

We offer previously rented furniture, appliances, computers and electronics, often at a significant discount. All items are cleaned and inspected before being made available for purchase.

What is needed to approve my application?

We never run credit checks at CM City. Instead, we approve applications using:

  1. Proof of Income [Example: A pay stub]

  2. Proof of Residence [Example: A copy of your lease agreement or a utility bill in your name]

  3. Four to Six Personal References

Once your information is verified, we’ll deliver your item, usually the same day!

Do you accept credit cards?

Absolutely! We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

What if I want to upgrade?

You are never obligated to keep merchandise at CM City. If you would like to upgrade to a newer product or one with more features, contact your local CM City to schedule a return of your item and an upgrade delivery.

What if I want to pay off an item early?

We encourage our customers to pay off their items early, at no penalty to them. In doing so, customers receive a discount on their remaining item balance.

What if I have to make a late payment?

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and unforeseen problems arise. Making a late payment might seem scary, but unlike our competitors, CM City wants to work with customers during difficult times. If you need to make a payment late, contact your local CM City as soon as possible and we will work with you. Open and honest communication goes far!

What if I need to return an item or I can no longer make payments?

Customers can return items to CM City with no obligation, at any time, for any reason. If you are unable to continue payments, contact your local CM City as soon as possible. We encourage customers to return the items they can no longer make payments on, and CM City will hold the item at no loss of credit until the customer can resume payments.*

What if my item breaks?

If merchandise breaks due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair your item quickly at no additional cost to you. If more extensive repairs are needed, we'll provide you with a loaner while you wait!

The transaction advertised is for a rental purchase agreement.
